Do you delivery to outside the UK?

Yes, Bright Onion ships worldwide.  The postal charges, which are calculated at checkout, are dependant on the shipping wieght.  Please note that some countries will not be in the online shop's shipping system in which case you will need to email me for further details.  There is more information on this on the Shipping page.

How long does your looper pedal record for?

It doesn’t record.  The looper pedals I make are “true bypass” looper pedals which enable you to create a loop for your effect pedal(s) to sit in so you can bring them into your signal when needed.  This is useful for keeping a tone sucking pedal out of your chain until needed, or can be used to activate several pedals at once.  You can see an example of a true bypass looper hook up here.

If you want to record loops then you need to look into getting a “sample” or “phrase” looper like the Boss RC Series or Digitech Jamman.  I do not make loopers like these (although I do make footswitches that can control them!).

How long will it take for you to build my pedal?

This varies but the usual build time is 7-10 days, if it will take longer we will contact you to let you know.

Why is my pedal not working?

All pedals are fully tested before being sent to the customer so faults are uncommon.  Before contacting me check the following;

  • Check the cables you are using, a faulty cable is the most common error.
  • Are you using the correct cable?  If you have a pedal that requires a stereo cable then it will not work properly with a mono cable.
  • Is the loop occupied by an effect pedal?  If not then plug a patch cable in the Send and Return sockets because if the loop has been selected and they are not connected then the signal has nowhere to go, and will result in silence.
  • Have you fully pressed the footswitch?  All but one of the switches I use produce a click when pressed, and as they are heavy duty to cope with feet coming down on them a certain amount of force needs to be applied.

Do you accept offers?

No.

Can you rehouse/mod my effect pedal?

I’m afraid that I do not offer this service.

Is it possible to collect a pedal?

Unfortunately I am unable to offer collection as we are a home based company, plus our business insurance does not cover customers being on the premises.
