Need some patch cables for your ABY switch? Click here!

This is an ABY switch which lets you send your input to either the A or B outputs, or to both simultaneously.

This ABY pedal comes with the added benefits of being active and having the B output going via an isolation transformer.  With the pedal being active means that there will be no signal loss when the input signal is split to both outputs, and having output B going via an isolation transformer means there will be no ground hum issues.  There are two toggle switches on the side of the pedal, one that reverses the phase of output B in case there are any phase issues when using both amps, plus a ground lift so everything is covered!

The pedal is powered via the 9v Boss style 2.1mm DC socket (centre negative).

By default, the pedal comes unpainted with a black label, you can have the pedal painted for an additional £5-£7 and also have a coloured label for an additional £2.

Examples of our enclosures and labels can been seen here.  Please note that if a enclosure colour is not listed then it is not available for this pedal.

The pedal is built with:

  • Aluminium enclosure
  • Neutrik jack sockets
  • DPDT heavy duty foot switches
  • Status LEDs
  • 2.1mm 9v DC Socket
  • Point to point wiring
  • Velcro to stick it to your pedalboard

Enclosure dimensions:

110x60x31mm

    Fantastic....

Posted by Martin Crook on 14th Feb 2021

I ordered the active ABY with isolated second output (V2) to replace my noisy groundhum-producing Fender ABY pedal which I was using to split my guitar between a Peavey Deuce VT and a Trace Elliot GP11 MkV into a Laney Ironheart 212 cab. Was going to get an Orange Amp Detonator but read a SUNN O))) interview where Stephen O'Malley mentioned BOP splitters were on his board. Reviews of BOP were really impressive, so this won out. Works like a dream - no hum!! Small footprint on my pedalboard compared with other lesser ABY units, and a nice raw aluminium industrial-looking finish too. Very impressed and arrived well within the estimated build time too. Great splitter that does the job perfectly.
