Need some patch cables for your ABY switch? Click here!

This is an ABY switch which lets you send your input to either the A or B outputs, or to both simultaneously.

This ABY pedal comes with the added benefits of being active and having the B output going via an isolation transformer.  With the pedal being active means that there will be no signal loss when the input signal is split to both outputs, and having output B going via an isolation transformer means there will be no ground hum issues.  There are two toggle switches on the rear of the pedal, one that reverses the phase of output B incase there are any phase issues when using both amps, plus a ground lift so everything is covered!

The pedal is powered via the 9v Boss style 2.1mm DC socket (centre negative).

By default, the pedal comes unpainted with a black label, you can have the pedal painted for an additional £5-£7 and also have a coloured label for an additional £2.

Examples of our enclosures and labels can been seen here.  Please note that if a enclosure colour is not listed then it is not available for this pedal.

The pedal is built with:

  • Aluminium enclosure
  • Neutrik jack sockets
  • DPDT heavy duty foot switches
  • Status LEDs
  • 2.1mm 9v DC Socket
  • Point to point wiring
  • Velcro to stick it to your pedalboard

Enclosure dimensions:

If you're looking at this then this is the one you need!

Posted by Mark on 4th Feb 2015

I've had this for a few years now and it is still working like it did on day one. I run one guitar into this then into a guitar amp and bass amp and this unit stands up flawlessly to weekly stampings for hours each time! I've never had any noise issues during practice, in the studio or live on stage, I'd be completely lost without it.

I am using the pedal with both, my Stratocaster E-Guitar and my 8-string bass. No issues. + guitar/bass sound passes in full quality + no loss in volume or low-end + no humming noise + easy switching between A+B, solo A, solo B Thanks! :D

Huge Sound, Silent Operation, Great Pedal!

Posted by Sean on 22nd Dec 2012

This pedal is seriously good, built like a tank and works perfectly. I bought it so that I could ABY my two amps. I was using a chorus pedal with two outputs to split before, after switching I could not believe the tone that I was losing. This pedal has crystal clear quality and the compensated output makes for a massive sound. I can't imagine any other brand of aby surpassing this unit.

If you use 2 amps you need this

Posted by Ian on 19th Dec 2012

I was running my two amps through my stereo out of my delay pedal and this sounded ok. Then I read that my signal was cut in half by doing this so i thought i would take a punt on this pedal as it say it will do what a much more expensive pedal would do for me. It arrived. I plugged everything in. Wow what a difference. I had a massive sound that i wasn't used to. Previously they must have been out of phase, not anymore. the signal is as strong as playing in one i sound like brian may without all the talent. I play as a single guitarist in my band but now have the depth in sound of a two guitar band. If you want to play through two amps you need this, no need to pay prices of large brands.
