A tap tempo switch is pretty simple bit of kit which can be priceless, and this one has the additional benefit of having soft touch switch so you don't hear that "click click click" just as you are setting the tempo.  Nice.

The switch is "normally closed", which means that this tap tempo is compatible with the majority of Boss and Roland delays.

The pedal is totally passive so no power required.

By default the pedal comes unpainted with a clear label, in the options above you can select for the pedal to be powder coat painted black for an additional £5.00.

Please note that if you select for the pedal to be painted then it will not be labelled.

If you need a mono cable to be supplied with the pedal please order a Bright Onion one from here.

The pedal is built with:

  • Aluminium enclosure
  • Neutrik jack socket
  • Heavy duty soft touch foot switch
  • Point to point wiring
  • Velcro to stick it to your pedalboard

Enclosure dimensions:

2 years, please see Terms & Conditions for further information.

The best tap tempo option for Boss DD-20

Posted by Tom on 10th Jul 2013

I use this with my Boss DD-20 Gigadelay, and it's made tap tempo a much more practical option: can keep the right pedal set to change presets, and then this is always there for tap tempo.

And as a bonus, this is way smaller (and cooler looking) than Boss' own FS-5U, despite being basically the same price. Win.
